30 Years of Foyle Film Festival

30 Years of Foyle Film Festival

FESTIVAL DATES: Friday 17th November – Sunday 26th November

The Foyle Film Festival will return next month on Friday 17th November to celebrate its 30th anniversary and to mark the special milestone it will expand the programme to ten days.

The festival is one of only a handful of International festivals with Oscar® affiliation and BAFTA recognition. Foyle Film Festival offers filmmakers, animators and artists a unique platform to screen their films, network with industry professionals and gain access to the international market.

This year, acclaimed filmmaker Jim Sheridan will deliver the ‘Shorts to Features’ Keynote talk on his long and distinguished career.

There will be some special dementia friendly screenings this year which will take place in Brunswick Moviebowl.

The festival, organised by the Nerve Centre, and funded and supported by Northern Ireland Screen and Derry City Council, delivers a comprehensive programme of documentaries, short films and feature films from all over the world, a full programme of educational events for schools, youth, and adults and an impressive array of industry networking events and panel discussions.
